Vood arose from an adventurous gamble. The writer Solenn Denis launched a challenge to fourteen student actors at writing workshops. Rather than writing fragments of text, why shouldn’t they write their own play? So this play is the work of 14 brains and 140 fingers, and immerses us in the Kingdom of Vood, a monarchy where the people can no longer bear the inequalities in wealth created by the powers that be, where the ranks of revolutionaries are growing and civil war looms…
